Focus Effect - Blur background Part 6

Concept: The lesson is designed using Adobe Photoshop. We have used selections, different combination of image editing tools and filters for most of the effects. Photoshop comes up with lots of the options and scope for experiment is much more than you can imagine. We wish to encourage you to use different options and tools to get better output. The lessons and techniques described need to be followed as a guideline to achieve the effect.

1. Open Photoshop. We have changed the image as selected the flower using Magnetic Lasso and other Lasso tools.

2. Select the background layer.

Filter > Blur > Motion Blur

Angle : 45 Distance 39

Click OK.

3. Go to History palette and Undo the about effect to apply new one. Make sure that the background layer is selected.

Filter > Blur > Radial Blur

Amount: 16, Blur Method: Spin, Quality: good

4.Go to History palette and Undo the about effect to apply new one. Make sure that the background layer is selected.

Filter > Blur > Radial Blur

Amount: 25, Blur Method: Zoom, Quality: good

5. Go to History palette and Undo the about effect to apply new one. Make sure that the background layer is selected.

Filter > Blur > Surface Blur

Radius: 36, Threshold: 62
